Title: Land Surveyor 

Job Details: 

The candidate must be able to perform the following tasks:

• Field note reduction and in-depth plan interpretation.
• Knowledge of the principles of the profession and various technical standards.
• Working knowledge of how to operate, check and perform basic field adjustments on rods, levels, tribrachs, robotic total stations, data collectors, tripods and GPD equipment.
• Download field data into computers.
• Ability to work as a one-man crew.
• Regular travel required.
• Able to work overtime.
• Maintain all survey supplies.
• Search for sections corners, property corners and survey points.
• Public records research.
• AutoCAD or Carlson Survey experience a plus.
• Engineering and/or Surveying degree a plus.

Requirements:

• Survey Crew Chief: A minimum experience of 1 year in land surveying including knowledge of topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and construction staking. Existing knowledge of GPS equipment and Robotic Total Stations a plus. Work will be mainly performed in the wireless telecommunications industry. This is a position that requires overnight travel on a consistent basis.
  

Location: 100% travel between KY, IL, OH, WV, VA, TN, MS & AL
