    Civil Design Inc. is looking for a Professional Land Surveyor / Land Surveyor in Training for our Louisville, KY office. Civil Design, Inc. is a Certified Woman Business Enterprise, engineering & surveying firm focusing on site development, surveying, transportation, water resources, structures, and infrastructure & analytics.

     

    Job Description: Responsible for making precise measurements to determine boundaries and providing topographic data utilizing survey equipment and data collection software.

     

    Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Understanding of KYTC Standards
    • MicroStation
    • AutoCAD/Civil3D
    • Trimble Access
    • Trimble Business Center
    • Leica Cyclone
    • Trimble Instrumentation
    • LiDAR Scanning equipment
    • UAS systems

    Education, Training and Experience Requirements:

    • License: Kentucky Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT). Additional state licenses a plus.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as LSIT
    • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record
