In Memoriam of Bob Zix, 2021

It is with great sadness that I share the passing of land surveyor, Bob Zix. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Zix family.

It is with deep sadness that we inform our friends and family that Bob Zix has passed away. Devoted husband to Patricia for 57 years and beloved father to Michelle and Kimberly, he gave us a lifetime of memories we will cherish always. He was always smiling when he spent time with his grandchildren: Sloane, Vance, Piper, Saige, and Laken. The happiest smiles, of course came from being with the love of his life, Pat, and his dogs.

He worked every day to build Surveying Services into a successful company and proudly shared his knowledge of the business while working with his son-in-law, Joe. His love for boating and fast cars was always a source of joy shared with his other son-in-law, Russ.

The beautiful life Bob and Pat had together was made even sweeter by all of the wonderful family and friends who have been there throughout. He was a faithful member of Southeast Christian Church, and would appreciate prayers of comfort for those left with grief from his passing.

Since Covid was the cause of his death, we will show consideration for others by waiting about a month so that weather will allow us to host an outdoor memorial celebration of life. Details will be shared closer to that time.
